The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

Ramblings of a madman.

`Pelicanh(Michael Helms) doesn't often get drunk, but sometimes we keep feeding him booze till something interesting happens.
This was one of those nights.
Scar, Mischa, Michael and I were helping decorate a rocking horse with rhinestones for a shoot Scar had the next day. We glued rhinestones all over it and added various adornments, all while drinking copious amounts of booze. Michael got fired from "ponycrafting" because he couldn't make a straight line anymore...he kept complaining that the horse wouldn't hold still. So not being one to sit around and do nothing he decided to get up and go peruse his own project. That project happened to be gluing rhinestones to his "junk." At some point he stuck his dick in the ear of the horse (which was still wet from paint), and was later heard mumbling "why is there blue shit all over my dick?"

That's what happens when you mix beer, rum, tequila and sake. Balls covered in rhinestones.

Who are we?

Addictedimage is Conan Soranno and Mischa Romo.
Mr. Soranno is a mad Italian who chain smokes and spends his days plotting ways to corrupt the pure, dominate the world, and perfect his recipe for chicken alfredo. Every once in a while he gets off his ass and presses a button on his camera (if he's not to busy arguing with people online as to why everything they believe in is wrong.)

Miss Romo is an absolute sweetheart who drinks too much, fights too much, and is a general pain in the ass. If it wasn't for the fact that she was a kick ass artist (classical and digital) and a damn good fashion designer as well as a smoking hot model... she'd have been out on the curb a long time ago.
