Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Bronies go nuts, and Nintendo Sucks?Equestria Girls
The trailer to "Equestria Girls" (the humanized MLP spinoff film) finally was released today. Aaaannnd everyone's freaking out. Again.
You know, it actually looks pretty decent. Bronies... please understand: I know you're a major unexpected demographic for the show. I know you enjoy seeing shout-out's become canon within the show, and appreciate how the creators do little things here and there for you. But... the show isn't made for you. This is not Cartoon Network and the target demographic isn't 25 year olds in college. You're a nice addition to the target demographic of little girls, but you are not the driving force behind MLP.
I don't want this to sound mean, but it needs to be said. This is where it becomes very important to understand the fine line between being a fan of the show and thinking that because you've invested so much energy into the show that you're entitled to things.
I'm sure the movie won't be as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It honest

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Dear Profoto,

You Swedes are an interesting bunch. A very dear friend of mine is Swedish, and my constant interactions with him throughout my life has led me to believe that you were a society of people of whom your only redeeming quality's were making crappy furniture and looking menacing while wearing suspenders.

Well... today my opinion of your people changed. Your construction of professional lighting gear is phenomenal. I now greatly appreciate what a wonderfully sturdy product your D4 strobe head is. This point was driven home rather securely this afternoon as a boom swung around and a D4 strobe head smashed into the side of my skull.
Besides the vertigo and the spotty vision, the only other thing to go through my mind at the time was, "wow...now that is a well built strobe."

The bruising around my eye socket is testament to a fine product.

I wont bother telling you the story of how crappily white lightning strobes are build and how surprisingly strong the ultralightweight plasticy 5d is ( one single action involving a model a sync cord a strobe a cstand boom and a bogen tripod and vicodin tie together) trust me i dove for it
